The New York Aquarium’s Education Department is dedicated to teaching youngsters and adults about sea creatures and marine habitats through engaging, interactive programs. Our offerings for adults, families, children, and teens include guided tours, family workshops, and opportunities to meet aquarium experts and get an insider’s look at our animals and exhibits. All programs require advance reservations.
Looking for an exciting program for your children this summer? During our multi-day camps, youngsters ages 6–14 meet walruses, penguins, sea lions, sea jellies and much more. Campers will enjoy hands-on activities, games, and behind-the-scenes explorations. We also offer programs for toddlers and their caregivers, which include marine-themed crafts projects, stories and songs, and animal encounters.
Whether you are seeking to enrich your students’ field trip to the Aquarium or a lesson in your own classroom, the New York Aquarium’s Education Department offers a wide range of programs to enhance science curricula for students from pre-school to high school.
